Therapeutic Sailing, Camaraderie, AND Support
Sailing is an ideal, therapeutic sport for Veterans and First Responders with PTSD and disabilities. Sailors with PTSD and disabilities learn to cruise around the bay and develop societal skills such as leadership, teamwork, and self-reliance. Racing sailboats requires knowledge of the elements, and strategy, tactics, and racing rules are other important components needed to master the sport.

Sailing provides Veterans and First Responders the opportunity for camaraderie and teamwork experienced while serving in the military. Therapy administered by nature: what could be better than that?
Our program is designed to progress participants up a pyramid of development. No prior sailing skills are required. It is the choice of the participant as to how far they would like to move up the level of development. We offer weekly sailing throughout the year.
Veterans and First Responders are offered a 20% discount using the coupon code SAIL-2025. For Disabled Veterans, unless introduced by the Miami VA Hospital, please bring your VA ID card or send us a copy. All Veterans and First Responders are welcome.
